Iqra Khalid
Iqra Khalid is the Member of Parliament for Mississauga—Erin Mills. She was first elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2019, 2021 and 2025. A lawyer, she studied criminology at York University and earned her law degree at the University of Michigan before working in the City of Mississauga’s legal department. She was Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Revenue from 2023 to 2025, and she has chaired the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights since June 2026.
